3 Campos

Branding project for a Mexican Gourmet Breakfast Restaurant

The idea.

The visual identity for 3 Campos was developed from a concept rooted in family, origin, and place. The name refers not only to the three partners behind the business, who share the last name Campos, but also to the meaning of the last name as “fields” or “lands” in Spanish. That dual meaning became the foundation of the brand, since the restaurant is built around ingredients that come from three different regions of Mexico, making the idea of land and origin an essential part of the story.

From that starting point, the isotype was designed by combining the number 3, the letter C from Campos, and the shape of a molcajete, a traditional Mexican object deeply connected to flavor and culinary heritage. These elements were brought together in a way that allows the icon to read as a 3, while also suggesting the curve of the C and the silhouette of the molcajete. The steam rising helps complete the composition and adds a sense of warmth and movement.

The process.

These are some of the early logo proposals, developed as we explored different ways to connect the concept with the final identity. Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to refine the direction step by step, shaping the logo until we reached the final version.

Final Look.
